"I purchased a wind blocker from you. It works great. One must follow the instructions to get the most from it. Rolling the windows up allows me to drive the "B" most winter days with the top down." Robert Miller - Louisville
"I ordered your wind blocker for my TR-8 a couple of months ago on a lark just to see if it would help. It fits perfectly under the seat belt fastening points. Because there is no storage space behind the seats it doesn't interfere with anything. - I've driven almost every British convertible and didn't have the wind blowback problem including the TR-3. The TR-7/8 is the worst car ever for this. Going 65-70 you have a 50 mph wind hitting you. Unacceptable. I always drove with my top up, even on top down days. The wind blocker cuts out 90% of the blowback and doesn't interfere with the top or top cover. When the windows are halfway up, the wind problem is stopped". - Bill Moseley of Pensacola, FL"I received the MGB wind blocker. Looks great & fits nicely. Works well for me as I'm 6'-1" and I can still put my seat back without interference. I don't think some of the other products out there allow for that. I haven’t given it the wife test yet but I think she will like the difference." - John Coen of Massapequa, NY
"I had my doubts about fitting the windblocker against my roll bar but it cleared it and fit beautifully. The design and quality are very good and it looks great over the tonneau. No need to hang on to my hat on the freeway anymore! KUDOS" Greg Stroop of Santa Maria, CA.

The latest version to be developed is specifically designed to fit the early small Healey. It consists of 2 body mounts which are attached to the car using the bolts which secure the aluminum trim onto the rear of the cockpit. These mount beneath the rear cowl and are very unobtrusive. Two "Z" brackets fit into the ends of the shield and are easily secured to the body mounts using thumbscrews. Erecting or dismantling the shield takes 30 seconds.
Installation is a breeze the Bugeye uses mounts which bolt to the body using the screws which hold on the aluminum trim in the rear. The "Z" bracket slips in the ends of the aluminum channel and then uses the thumbscrews to secure the shield to the mounts. Complete instructions included with each Wind Blocker.

Now all the Big Healey owners can experience the benefits of a Wind Blocker. The shield mounts to the car using the tonneau bar sockets. Slide the brackets into each end of the shield's crossbar and then slip the brackets into the tonneau sockets and you are ready to cruise top down at highway speeds in comfort. No more battering air currents!
Install in a snap the Healey model will fit both side curtain and roll up window big Healeys. The user may want to trim the posts on the end brackets for the side curtain models as the shield can fit lower on those models. Just saw off some of the post with a hack saw. It has two brackets with round posts which fit into the existing tonneau bar mounts on the car similar to the MGB but without any thumbscrews. Complete instructions included with each Wind Blocker.

Bill Moseley of Pensacola, FL writes: "What I wrote still applies. Most people don't notice the TR-8 wind blocker. I've used it for over three years and it's in the original condition. I thought that raising and lowering the top would be a problem but it's only a slight inconvenience. As you can see in the photos, the wind blocker is almost invisible. I was surprised that something that is so small could make such a huge difference. If not for the wind breaker, my top would have been raised.
About the British made TR-8 convertible top I bought from you a couple of years ago: Besides being a bargain, it fits perfectly - of course, no leaks. The thick little roll that surrounds the top of the windows seal out the wind noise a great deal better than my previous top."
Update 2019: "Yes, they really do work! I bought one of your first ones abut 10 - 12 years ago just for grins. My TR-8 is practically un-drivable without one. As you see in the picture, it's almost invisible. Worth every penny. I don't know how they work on other models, but they are a must for TR-8s."
